Description
Get the best of St. Lucia in one day.
Explore a few of St. Lucia’s most popular landmarks and have time for some sea, sand and fun. This combo tour is historical and adventurous and is highly recommended if traveling with children.
The first part of the tour takes you through the capital city and up to the first landmark; The Morne. At the top of this impressive mountain are views of the harbor, city and north of the island. As you explore this area you will come across historical buildings and monuments. The first stop on this excursion is at Howelton Estate, the 18th century home of a dentist now converted into a café, art studio and retail outlet.
The drive continues through charming communities in the mountainous rural areas on the outskirts of the city. Views of the Atlantic and Caribbean coastlines will be pointed out as the lush tropical landscape hugs you.
The last stop of the day is at the Pigeon Island National Landmark. This National Trust protected site is geologically and historically significant. Occupied by many throughout its history from arawaks to admirals, this landmark was particularly valuable because of its vantage point. The island was unattached to the mainland until 1972 when a causeway was built.
Inside the park are ancient ruins and stunning beaches. Beach chairs are inclusive in your excursion and you get 90 minutes to enjoy some rest and relaxation. Feel free to explore the park or even go hiking up the fort. Shower, restroom and changing facilities are on site to freshen up before heading back to the port.

Rachel Krushinski –
This was a wonderful excursion. I highly recommend it. We were met at the port by a friendly guide who walked us to the waiting van. Our family of four were the only ones on the van and it was such a great experience to learn about the island from our driver/guide. He was great. (I believe it was April 18, 2019). The beach was quiet, there was a bar/restaurant for food/drinks, and we all had a great time.
